Ready to join OPAA?

Join OPAA in three easy steps.

1. Sign a membership application card

You can sign a digital membership application card. Your card is completely confidential—no one (including your employer) will find out that you signed a card.

2. Educate others

At least 40 percent of all PAs at your hospital need to sign a membership application card for OPAA to apply to the Ontario Labour Relations Board (OLRB) to be your union. Encourage others to participate and make an informed choice.

3. Vote yes

Once there are enough membership application cards signed, OPAA will file an application with the OLRB. The OLRB will then conduct a secret-ballot vote of all eligible workers. If over 50 percent of those who cast a ballot vote in favour of OPAA representation, your workplace will become part of OPAA.
